CancelLations & rescheduling policy
We require a minimum of 4 hours to reschedule or cancel a single appointment. For more than one appointment in the same day, we require a full 24 hours to change or cancel an existing reservation. A credit card is required to secure the reservation for more than one service. If you fail to call or keep your appointment, your credit card will be charged for 100% of the services booked.
Email cancellations are not accepted.
In the event that you miss three consecutive appointments without contacting Salon Gilbert, you will be unable to schedule future appointments. However, you may be considered as a walk-in.
We strive to provide a relaxing, private and undisturbed atmosphere at all times.
Please advise us of any allergies you may have, or if you are or think you may be pregnant.
Kindly arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
We ask that cell phones be set to vibrate before entering the salon as a courtesy to other clients and/or the design team.
As a courtesy to other salon guests, and in our efforts to offer a relaxed and professional atmosphere, we ask that you are aware that it is your responsibility to watch your children at all times while in the salon.
Only Service dogs are allowed in the salon.
SALES & PRICING
Major Salon Gilbert services must be secured with a credit card. For your convenience, we can keep your credit card safely on file. If you are an existing client you may prefer booking appointments online.
We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. Sorry we do not accept Checks. Your gift certificate number must be mentioned when booking an appointment.
All product sales are final.
We do not issue refunds for any services provided. All pricing is based on time and products used to perform each service. Pricing is subject to increase if additional time or products are needed to accommodate your particular hair needs. If you have any questions regarding specific pricing, then we urge you to ask your stylist for pricing prior to your service.

Gratuity is not included in the price of services.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged clothing, jewelry or gift certificates.
Gift Certificates and Gift Cards expire after one year from the time they were issued.
Blow dry policies
At Salon Gilbert you will receive a complimentary 10 minute finishing blowout with all color services. If you wish for a full professional blow-dry after your color service, you will be booked accordingly, and will receive your professional blow-dry.
(If your hair also requires a hot iron service to be straightened out, you will be charged an additional $15).
Please note: Some hair types, such as curly, heavily textured or relaxed hair cannot be effectively blownout in 10 minutes; in such cases it is better to leave the hair to dry naturally and, as such, we cannot offerour complimentary blow-out as this will affect the integrity of our hair. Of course, if you opt for a professional blow-dry we will make you look stunning!
SINGLE PROCESS POLICY
A single service does not include an additional glaze. If you wish to add a glaze to our single process, please speak with your colorist and it will be applied for an additional fee of $35.
Brazilian Keratin Treatment
Due to an extensive amount of time this service requires to be performed, we require a 50% deposit from the guest when the appointment is booked. This amount is put towards the balance of the guest when the appointment is booked. The amount of the deposit will be deducted from the balance of the guest’s services, but will not be refunded in the event of a no‐show.
